Provenance

The record of where each piece of data came from, when it was captured, and how it was verified.

Provenance is the core differentiator of a methodology-first dataset. For every row on Augea, the site records the source exchange, the capture timestamp, the verification level, and the snapshot id that produced the estimate. If we cannot verify a value, the interface shows unknown with a reason instead of guessing.
