What we collect

Augea collects only the data needed to operate the service. We do not require account creation. If you use saved scenarios, comparison data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

Analytics

We may use privacy-first analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. Analytics is disabled by default. When enabled, Augea records anonymous page-view and interaction events, route templates, broad device class, and acquisition source categories such as direct, search, social, referral, campaign, and internal. Referrers are stored at domain-level only, not as full URLs. No cookies are used for analytics. No personal information or PII is collected. IP addresses, user-agent strings, and query text are not stored. No browser fingerprinting is performed, and we do not track individual journeys.

Raw analytics events are retained for 24 hours, then reporting uses anonymous aggregate counts that may be kept long-term. Known crawler or automated telemetry may be filtered before aggregation. No data is shared with third parties, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Affiliate tracking

When you click an affiliate link, the destination exchange may use cookies to track referrals. This is governed by that exchange's privacy policy. Augea does not control how affiliates use this data.

Cookies

We use minimal, functional cookies necessary for the site to operate. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Locally-saved scenarios are stored in your browser's localStorage and are accessible only to you.
