Decision data for crypto costs
Evidence-backed exchange fee data with provenance, freshness, and coverage metadata built in. Structured for teams that need to compare, embed, or analyse real cost estimates.

260+snapshots
What the data includes
Fee snapshots — Timestamped fee observations per exchange, asset, country, and payment method
Total cost estimates — Modelled cost ranges (low–high) combining fees, spreads, and payment method surcharges
Provenance metadata — Snapshot IDs, timestamps, source types, and confidence levels attached to every data point
Coverage map — Which exchanges are covered, for which scenarios, and at what confidence tier
Who this is for
Product teams
Building wallets, portfolio trackers, or onboarding flows that need real-time cost context. Embed estimates so users see what they may pay before they commit to an exchange.
Research and analytics teams
Running cost benchmarks, competitive analysis, or fee trend studies across exchanges. Structured data with provenance means every claim is verifiable.
Publishers and content platforms
Sourcing fee data for articles, comparison guides, or editorial products. Every data point includes its snapshot ID and timestamp for citation.
Operations and compliance teams
Monitoring exchange cost structures, tracking fee changes over time, or building internal cost-awareness dashboards with transparent freshness indicators.
Why this data is different
Most crypto fee data is either scraped without context, self-reported by exchanges, or shaped by affiliate incentives. Augea data is built differently.
Evidence-led, not opinion-led
Every estimate traces to a timestamped snapshot. No editorial rankings, no subjective scores, no sponsored placements.
Provenance by default
Every data point includes its snapshot ID, collection timestamp, source type, and confidence level. Provenance is not an add-on — it is the data model.
Coverage-aware
The data includes its own coverage map — which exchanges, countries, assets, and payment methods are covered, and at what confidence tier. You always know what the data does and does not include.
Explicit unknowns
When data is missing or incomplete, Augea says so with reason codes. Gaps are surfaced, never filled with guesses or inferred values.
No pay-to-rank
Commercial relationships, affiliate links, and data licensing never influence how exchanges are ranked, scored, or presented in the data.
What you can build
Cost comparison widgets — Embed exchange cost estimates into your product with provenance included
Fee benchmarking reports — Track exchange fee trends over time with verifiable data for every comparison
Editorial content with citations — Write fee comparisons backed by snapshot-level evidence, not guesswork
Internal cost dashboards — Monitor exchange pricing with freshness and confidence indicators built in
API
The Augea API is in early access. It provides JSON endpoints for fee snapshots, cost estimates, and coverage metadata. Provenance fields are included in every response by default.
—REST endpoints with JSON responses
—Every response includes snapshot ID, timestamp, and confidence level
—Filter by exchange, asset, country, and payment method
—Rate-limited access with API key authentication
—Coverage is growing — current: 16 exchanges, 7 countries, BTC and ETH
Request access
Data access is available on a case-by-case basis during early access. If you are building a product or conducting research that would benefit from structured crypto fee data, reach out.

Request accessInclude in your request:
—Who you are and what you are building
—Your intended use case (embedding, research, editorial, internal)
—Which markets or exchanges matter most to you
—Expected query volume or integration scope
Commercial access, data licensing, and partnerships do not influence how exchanges are ranked, scored, or presented. Ranking logic and truth-state rules are independent of all commercial relationships.
