Card rail
Funding an exchange using a credit or debit card, usually at higher total cost than a bank transfer.
Card rails are fast and convenient but expensive. Exchanges pass through card interchange fees, add their own surcharge, and sometimes apply a wider spread for instant settlement. For the same 1000 EUR buy, a card can cost 2 to 3 times more than a SEPA transfer. Augea always shows card and bank results side by side.
